Do Not See, But Perceive

Have you seen the world around you?  Take a break from your office desk and notice how the downtown skyline changing at dusk… The ancestral home is readying itself to become a high rise apartment…  The street food vendor from whom you had dahi-chawal this morning, is now into frying pakodas… The cute girl across your cubicle, otherwise snob, is wearing an approaching smile… Your coffee mug with a hairline crack is screaming its lungs out for retirement …  The ping note from Skype is saying your annoying client is here with another feedback. Argh! So that’s it for now.  But from now on do not just see, but perceive… Hope you’ll slip into your client’s shoes this time. 

Trip to Valley of Flowers in 2017 – Things You Need To Know

As the sun is in peak, you must be looking for a cool summer getaway. Have you ever dreamt of going to a fairyland that’s beautified by Nature’s finest craftsman? If you have, then Valley of Flowers is your best bet. Declared as National Park, the mesmerizing flower clad valley is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Where is it located? Travel 300 Kms  from Rishikesh towards north, near Badrinath and tada! You reach your destination. But the closest you can travel by road is till Govindghat. From this point you can hike to Valley of Flowers. For those who don’t know, Rishikesh is 6-7 hours drive from the capital of India. How to Reach? If you are on a trip to Rishikesh, you can easily avail buses or taxies from the station and head towards Govindghat which is 273 Kms away. However, public transport is easily accessible from other popular destinations as well like Srinagar, Rudraprayag, Joshimath and Chamoli.  You can also go by air. Fly down to the neares
